Four things you might like to know about Dungeonland
Dungeonland is Paradox and Critical Studios' new co-operative dungeon crawler. In this quick "Developer Snapshot," game designer Mark Venturelli describes some of the key aspects of the title such as the role of the Dungeon Master, the fourth player, who sets traps and generally tries to be a pest and destroy the heroes. Despite the cheerful and colorful aesthetic, Dungeonland is being designed with challenge in mind. Critical Studios wants players to feel a sense of accomplishment when completing a dungeon. These dungeons can be player in any order and as many times as you want, with enemies and loot generated randomly. It looks like something worth keeping an eye on. Did you know? | 8:00 PM on 02.04.2013 Review: Dungeonland |

Truly, I had no expectations going into Dungeonland. In fact, I opted to test it out solely because of my profuse love for action RPGs.I had heard through the grapevine that it was a "hardcore" action RPG that was completely lacking in story, and instead, played out entirely through repeating randomly spawned dungeons, similar to a rogue-like. I was very, very surprised by the results.more

| 11:30 AM on 06.08.2012 E3: Magicka + Diablo + Disneyland = Dungeonland |

I love theme parks and I love dungeon crawling, so when I heard Critical Studios would combine the two for their debut action-RPG, I got a bit giddy. Much like Magicka, which shares the same publisher (Paradox), DungeonLand is a loot-centric, co-op clickfest that has the action of Diablo and the comedic ambitions of Portal.more
