It’s safe to say that Epic’s third title update for Gears of War 2 is well on its way to hitting the planned March 24 release date. This afternoon, a Joystiq reader spotted a full listing of the unreleased content's Achievements on Microsoft’s Xbox Web site. The majority of the 'Cheevos reward players for reaching multiplayer rank benchmarks -- the notable addition of the title update. The catch is that players will have to purchase the ‘Snowblind’ map pack in order to be rewarded for their multiplayer badassery. (It's a bummer that Microsoft doesn't allow developers to make Achievements whenever.)

- Rookie Gear (10 points) - Earn enough multiplayer experience to reach level 5 (Public only)
- Battle-Tested Gear (30 points) - Earn enough multiplayer experience to reach level 25 (Public only)
- Battle-Hardened Gear (50 points) - Reach level 50 and play a match on each of the 4 Snowblind Map Pack maps (Public only)
- Veteran Gear (75 points) - Reach level 100 and win a match on each of the 4 Snowblind Map Pack maps (Public only)
