The games graphics looks beautiful, I have always wanted to get into a racing experience I will be sure to get this.

not 48 hours ago i decided "you know what SC, you need to check this Forza out properly, specially after being a bit disappoint with Gran Turismo" - so I downloaded the Forza 3 demo but hadn't had chance to play it yet.
Now you tell me a Froza 4 demo is a available. Bugger, back to the downloading board.

graphics is simply out of this world - i have really beefy pc and even games like Dirt 3 or Shift 2 on max setting doesn't look that good, it's just crazy. i lost few races because i was looking at other cars and scenery.
even bigger kudos to them for giant leap forward in terms of physics - tested the game with both controller and a wheel(911 Turbo S). Forza 3 was really good and light years ahead of competition on any console, but Forza 4 is so much fuckin better.
AI should get the praise too - each AI driver reacts differently from my experience and on highest difficulty it feels almost like i was playing online.
it's scary just to think what Turn10 will do with next generation of xbox.

Forza 3 was excellent after abominations of Forza 1 and 2. But MS should have chosen PGR as their racing franchise. *cry*

i don't know what did you smoke, but it must be good shit.
original Forza was not only the best racing sim on first xbox, but also on all 6th generation consoles. Forza 2 was massive leap forward for entire genre and it took several years for other publishers/developers to catch up - hell some franchises are still behind Forza 2 in terms of physics and features.

Maybe I'm missing something my demo only shows the STi, Ferrari, and Mercury Cougar available. Do I have to unlock the other two?
I think the EA guy said it best. GT5 was a driving game. It was about love of the cars for what they were, not what they could do. The fact that the AI did not wake up until you were at a high level says everything. I still enjoyed it. Forza is the real console racing game, though. Can't wait.

calling something a travesty implies that you have a pre-conception that GT5 was going to be a excelling experience. As defined, travesty is A false, absurd, or distorted representation of something. As such, something can never be a travesty if it carries the proper pre-conceived results. That is, if you thought it was going to be a rubbish game, and it turns out it was rubbish, then It isn't a travesty. This all means that in turn, you thought gt5 was going to be a excellent game, and had the pre-conceived notion that it was going to look good, play good, feel proper, and leave you satisfied.
THE VERY FACT that you have just admitted you even had a passing hope or expectation that gt5 would be a good game has given me that same passing hope that one day you well change. gt6 maybe?

Hope Forza 4 can suppass or come close to GT5(which I imagine it will) With the patches and PD's constant updates, GT5 is easily my favorite racing game. Some blurry textures not withstanding.
