Forza Motorsport 3's soundtrack now available on iTunes photo

I love me some Forza Motorsport 3, and you know I love me some game music. The soundtrack in Forza 3 is good, but it's the kind I find I want to take with me when I drive IRL. Besides, I've recently found joy doing the whole using overdramatic opera songs with with the sound effects off while racing thing. Try it. It's amazing.

Now I can take the Forza 3 OST on the road, as it is now available on iTunes today, as well as at Sumthing Else's digital download site. Forza Motorsport 3 Original Soundtrack includes 90 minutes of ambient electronica music created by award-winning composer and producer Lance Hayes, aka DJ Drunken Master.

He said, "This was truly a rare and amazing project to work on. I knew it had to be perfect because this was Forza but we also agreed that it had to be music that could stand on its own. We were looking for the right balance of listen-ability and edge."

And that it does. Great music for the game, but maybe even better on its own. Check it out, buy a song or two, and support game soundtracks.

ES Posthumus? If so I'm totally with you on that one.

Wasn't a fan of Forza 3's soundtrack, but then again I have it turned off during racing for my iPod's music instead.

Funny how you say support game soundtracks, then bash one of the best game soundtracks of the last decade (Halo) in your last post.

I just thought that was funny.

It makes me really happy to see The Whip, Mistabishi and Logistics on this soundtrack.

Nitex, even if it was, what's your point? That the soundtrack is bad because of it?

I don't really like Forza's soundtrack. Most of the stuff was pretty meh to me. I actually made a custom playlist and saved it to my 360 just to replace the original soundtrack. Endurance races are much better when I have AC/DC to listen to.

I prefer ODST's soundtrack to the Halo ones.
Not a fan of
Forzas soundtrack but....
@ Arkhon - Damn right, bit of Heatseaker and A Whole Lotta Rosie. Custom soundtracks are the best thing about modern consoles.

Forza 2's soundtrack is infinitely better.

Forza 2's soundtrack was gimped. Every time I would start singing along with a song, a verse or 2 would be cut out. I haven't gotten Forza 3 yet (Christmas) but I hope they fixed that.

I didn't say it was the best of the decade, so stop making things up. However, it is pretty damn good. Definitely better than Forza's.
