Can I suggest/request a recent-activity-watcher on the side panel of the frontpage next to the cblog list? I've seen this on other pages, and it really helps viewers dive right into the forums when there's a list of the last ~5 posts and the first few lines of each.
Arttemis -- that's a really great idea. Let's get some people to vote it up in the Feedback forum and we'll make it happen.
I hardly use the forums, but if there was a forum side bar, with the best stuff on the main page, I'd be more likely to check it out.
