I'm pretty damn hyped for Borderlands. I hate to fall for it, but I have, so it has become a day one purchase. I just wanted to gauge interest of the DToid community. It would be nice to have an idea who's going to get it and on what platforms. I searched for a thread, but didn't see anything so I figured I'd make one. So something along the lines of this would be nice.

There are four classes in Borderlands. Sniper, Soldier, punchy Brick dude, and ghostwalker chick uhhh Siren I think maybe? One person was just joking around and said demo I think. We couldn't know the weapons, probably ever. That's part of the lure of the game with the customization and randomization.

Hopeful tag applies more to the PC I guess. I'm assuming that the game will let people use their XBLA tag, and hopefully for the PSN there will be none of the MGO bullshit, but on the PC you could have a different name in pretty much every game so hopeful tag means what you hope your nick is going to be basically if you you're getting it on the PC.

Sorry for the somewhat long-winded response.

I would like to play Soldier since I like to be the supporting class. But I'll most likely be playing Berserker since nobody else wants to play him and I also like to play as the underdog. I was first disappointed when I saw his skill trees. But I have a feeling I'll be pleasantly surprised when I start to play as him.
