I'm just downloading now. I heard that djWheat was going to call in as well. He lives in buttfuck Iowa or Nebraska now after being fired from his esports gaming job.
Sterling twittered that he was not supportive of this agenda. |

If I was not supportive, I wouldn't have turned up. I Twittered that it was not my idea.
That show was interesting. I didn't really serve any purpose other than to keep it from getting too nasty and awkward, but even so I was quite intrigued and had to sit back and listen to stuff from the days before I was even hired by Dtoid. I think old school Dtoiders will dig the show, and newbies will get a nice example of the Rob Summa Experience. |

"ARE YOU GOING TO LET ME TALK ON MY OWN PODCAST? THANK YOU."
He just should've answered "No.", to be at least honest. It was interesting to listen to him, though. I think sometimes he tries really hard to not be an asshole but he fails at it. Gotta give him points for being consistent though, at least he is not changing his opinion and still says Destructoid was shit before he turned up. |

He is exactly how I remember him...This kind of reminded me of the Stewart vs Cramer interview for whatever reason.

AAAAAAAAAAAAARG!!!! I was hoping podtoid 94 would be the street fighter episode, because it came out in 1994! My OCD will never leave me alone about this.

i expected a podcast where summa, anthony and jim talked about games and maybe made some jokes about summa being a ps3 fanboy, but instead of that the show reminded me more of two kids fighting. for gods sake grow up people!
someone up there mentioned it reminded him of the stewart ./. cramer interview. i disagree. the big difference between the stewart interview was that i didn't see one side being right in this. when confronted about using dtoid as summa.com, rob summa admitted to that. i thought it was kind of unfair not to give him credit for admitting his mistakes. he even admitted of acting like an asshole. anthony should have used the chance and made peace with summa. nobody expects them to be best friends but this interview was the chance to at least stop this "pedophile" shit. its not even funny. this sort of behavior propels stuff like the taking down of summas website and leaves the impression of you guys acting like a bunch of children on that show. at the end when summa kept on saying "awesome show" it was a sign of his helplessness and anthony even made fun of that. i totally understand if i get flamed for defending summa a little bit, but the truth is, i respect anthony, jim and summa. they all kept me informed about my obsession called "gaming". i am grateful for that. if they could only cut the crap and try to talk to each other respecting different opinions and leaving the past behind. in essence: i like ![]() and i would have loved to see  and to be like and

I'm just getting to the end of it. I can't help but think:
"To you, Robert Summa trying to get you fired was the most hurtful experience of your life. To Robert 'Baller' Summa, it was Tuesday." What a fantastic bitter romp. This is simply wonderful. |

btw, I had to seriously control myself everytime Anthony said "Summa Aftershow, So Baller." That was ridiculously amusing.

Is this up on Itunes or something? I don't see it on the Dtoid sidebar. Or did you all call in to the Summa Aftershow?

Hmm, Summa came off very douchey. His condescending description veiled compliments of the early site was not that cool. But, damn it was hard to listen to the potential cringe moments.

@Super Well, I don't mean to compare them in every context because it clearly wasn't on the same subjects but I guess it was the way Rev was calling him out on some of his shit is all.

That... was... pretty pathetic. Rev actually came off as a bigger prick then he's ever said Summa was. I mean... jesus Rev, you actually corrected his grammar? Seriously?
Jim and Summa at least appeared to clear the air between them. Why can't you just suck it up, get over it and move on with your life? Summa seems to have, and as odd as it may sound I gained a bit of respect for him and lost a lot for you during that. Don't get me wrong, I still think he's still an ass, but when it came down to your bad history he at least tried to be civil. |

It felt to me like the beef with Rev and Summa is more personal than most of us on the other side of the fence are aware. And that's the bitch about eventually having it out in public - one or both people are going to kind of look a little douche-y, because the rest of us think the whole conflict is all based upon what little we know, therefore it looks like one or both people are overreacting, getting too dramatic, whatever.
I know Rev is definitely not a douche, and I know that Summa's ego annoys the piss out of me. Therefore, my opinions are roughly the same after having heard the podcast as they were going in, even though I don't so much see Summa as a "bad guy", as much as I do someone who simply has a big fucking ego and doesn't know when to reel it in, especially when said ego MAY not quite be justified. |

Ouf, this was hard listening too. As said earlier it came out as a personal feud between Anthony and Summa. The only thing I got out of this was Anthony's feelings against Summa, which obviously are way too personal for a podcast.
