That is not a fucking joke; they actually took my breath away. But I don't know what game/movie this is from. Doesn't matter, chances are neither the game nor the movie can live up to the amount of JIMP (for those of you cooler than me, that's "Jizz In My Pants") containted in these pictures. |

Hearing you guys just finding out about cosplayers is kind of adorable/weird when you're friends with several, and have cosplayed a couple times yourself. Odd how nerd realms you think would intersect more don't, really.
I'll chime in on the side of whomever said the red Link was hotter. And I'd love to meet the sadists behind that Fanhistory site. A wiki of fanfiction authors seems equivalent to keeping track of the horrible things people have done that got them into hell. |

In response to the whole annoyance of fanfic writers inserting themselves in the story, I realised yesterday that this is the case for the entire of Dante Alighieri's 'Divine Comedy'. I don't feel too bad anymore.

I keep trying to bring this up whenever anyone gets on a high horse about the new Dante's Inferno game, like the existence of the game somehow demeans the original book. Brilliant as he was, the dude was basically a self-insertion fanfic writer; he would know better than to get pissed about someone re-interpreting his ideas.

Yes, but was Dante trying to sleep with everyone in heaven, hell, and purgatory? Most Mary Sue characters are.

I haven't been on the internet for a little while, so I didn't get a chance to post this when the podcast first went up, but when I heard that you guys were talking about twilight merch, I felt the need to post this.
And about fanfics, that blog also does a weekly article about terrible fanfics called Fan Fiction Friday. My favourite/ruins my faith in humanity one is this one |

This is made even funnier by the fact I can't hear mention of Dante without my passing knowledge of Devil May Cry seeping into things and making the whole deal even slashier. I'm laughing just so I won't cry.

As one of the handful of fat princesses at PAX, I'm curious about your mention of said rotund royalty in the last HAWPcast. I'm torn between Anthony's assurances of coolness, and Ash's pity. My husband and I were at your panel, and took the photo of me (plus Mario) and you guys (plus hot dog). Absurd as it may be, I now have to know which of the porcine Peaches you were talking about.

I came across Adella about three-four years ago, a friend of mine is friends with her. Listening to this, and reading this thread, has made me feel like such a pathetic cosplay nerd
