Forget the Wii Zapper and try this AK-47 mod

9:11 AM on 01.15.2008

Link's Crossbow Training never really sounded that appealing to me. Of course, things would have been much different if an AK-47 was involved.

With this mod of an airsoft gun from I Make Projects.com, you'll be blasting targets with excessive force and rifle whipping rabbits in no time. Why slap when you can rifle whip? A Wii Remote's fire buttons are wired to the gun's trigger, and the Wii Remote's IR camera is mounted at the end of the gun's muzzle. With this, you'll have the ultimate Wii Zapper upgrade.

This doesn't look like a mod I'd be comfortable doing, but the end result is definitely worth it.  Somehow, tying on a shemagh and smacking things with an AK-47 sounds really appealing. I bet Nintendo is all for this mod.

Mod tools for Total War: Rome II are now in beta

Total War: Rome II was one of the games I'm kicking myself for passing over in 2013; I didn't think I was going to be able to commit to a vast strategy game in a series that has shown me no mercy in the past. However, the new...more

You can now mod SimCity but only so far

We've said it plenty of times before but mods for PC games are great. Mod support is something I look for in games but it was no surprise that SimCity didn't allow mods. With the game being online all the time I assumed that ...more
