Spencer from Siliconera has uncovered a Gamefly listing for a Brash Entertainment published title called Six Flag Fun Park. Because of Brash's licensed-IP modus operandi, one has to assume someone left an "s" out somewhere, and the game will be tied -- in some fashion -- to the Six Flags chain of amusement parks.

Licensed shovelware, you say? Perhaps, so of course the game is being listed as available for the usual suspects -- the Nintendo DS, Wii, and PlayStation 2. Other companies have had varying degrees of success with the theme park formula, from the Rollercoaster Tycoon series to LucasArt's Thrillville. Considering Brash's track record of awesome games like Alvin and the Chipmunks and Jumper: Griffin's Story, we're surely looking at another solid amusement park title.

Gamefly currently has the game listed for an August 21 release.

I always loved that commercial and it worked, it did make me want to go to Six Flags. Then again, I live in Canada, so I've only been once. Good times were had though.

But yeah, game wise, totally not looking forward to this one. Just like The Sims, Roller Coaster Tycoon was fun for a while, but I quickly lost interest. I doubt any amusement park game could hold my interests these days.

Creepiest old man ever...

And Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 was always great but then they mucked it up with 3. Couldn't keep a decent running park when you couldn't read your visitors thoughts...

That old man is a better dancer than I'll ever be.

Gonna have to try those moves next time I'm at the club.
