Yes, it probably took me longer to upload these 48 Ninja Gaiden II screenshots (and two pieces of artwork!) than it did for me to write this post. But really, what more needs to be said about Ninja Gaiden II?

Ninjas? Check. Blood and dismemberment? Check. Boobs? Check. Werewolves? Yeah, that's right -- werewolves. But you already knew about all of this stuff, because you read my Ninja Gaiden II preview article, right? Right.

So sit back and feast your eyes on these ninja-filled, blood-soaked, boob-tastic screenshots featuring werewolves. And there you go -- Ninja Gaiden II. Xbox 360. June 3.

Good thing we aren't paying too much attention to the visuals and not ignoring the gameplay.

NG is hard as fuck.

Jesus, Nick, you weren’t kidding. That is ridiculous. Like Magesx, this is one game that I wish was coming to the PS3. Perhaps Team Ninja will eventually put out Ninja Gaiden II: Tau on the PS3...

More like the PS4. Tomonobu Itagaki is just mad because the shiny PS3 reflects his hideous face. >:[

I can't wait for Ninja Gaiden II Epsilon on the PS3/4. I'll have DMC5(which should be great like DMC 1 & 3) and GoW3.

I'm a huge Ninja Gaiden Sigma fan and it would be awesome if NG2 made its way onto the PS3. Myself and countless other Sigma fans would snap it up immediately.

Has there been any official murmurs or word about a potential PS3 release? Or has Microsoft's publishing involvement pretty much killed any potential for a PS3 version?

I can see it come out on the PS3 after about as much time as it takes for MGS4 to come out on the 360 :)

Looks great though, hopefully everyone will get a chance to play it.

Wow, where are all the 360 Ninja Gaidener's at? All I see here are people griping about how they wish it were on the PS3, or how they're gonna get NGII:(insert obscure latin) when/if it comes to it.

I for one am PSYCHED for this one. I beat the TAR out of NG on Xbox, and even bought NG:B and played through it just as much as the first one!! I LOVE pain! Bring it ON! I love me a game that beats my ass, yet will yield if I am worthy.

Also, FUCKING WEREWOLVES?! Are you kidding me?! That is f'ing spectacular!

This game looks great but the gameplay seems kind of tired... I tried to replay the first one again but it didn't feel fun anymore. And it's not because I suck at it. I will definitely wait for the reviews before I take the dive on this one.

I know that Ninja Gaiden will have archery and dirt biking, but how did they fit in a badminton game so flawlessly into the main storyline?

This game is going to be completely out of control. Everything new thing I see is more insane than the last.

You have to hand it too Team Ninja, certainly celebrate what is pure ridiculous fun about videogames. I played the balls out of the other ones, and I can't wait for this one.

As any one who has a spent a good deal of time with these games will tell you, they are not as hard as they seem. You just to learn how to play the combat system. It holds you accountable for your every move, unlike mashing some buttons and making 10-15 enemies disappear. You just need to learn it and always be on-point.

Same here. Not because I don't own a 360, but because my 360 doesn't do well with gaming that lasts longer than 2 hours :(

I'm definitely picking this up the second I can and will play it on my launch 360 that still hasn't given me a single problem. *knocks on wood*

"Man this makes me excited when God of War 3 tops this game in graphics and gameplay!"

Graphically, it's pretty likely that GoW3 will outdo NG2 especially since GoW's art style is typically more inspired and consistent. With respect to gameplay though, GoW3 will have to overhaul its combat drastically if it's to top that of NG2.
