Excuse the Xbox LIVE Arcade PSA, but even I’m having trouble keeping track of Microsoft’s ‘Days of Arcade’ downloadable games blitzkrieg. This Wednesday (April 8), D3Publisher’s Puzzle Quest: Galactrix and Proper Game’s FLOCK! are hitting XBLA for 1,600 and 1,200 Microsoft Points respectively.
We’ve had our hands on FLOCK! several times. You can check out preview coverage from E3 2008 here and CES 2009 here. FLOCK! looks good, but Galactrix, as I understand it, is quite the steamer. You can check out Conrad’s qualms with the title here.
I love Microsoft’s XBLA promotions. It got me thinking -- what if there was always some sort of promotion? I think Microsoft needs to green light stuff like ‘Crappy Advergaming Crazy Fun Time (sponsored by Toyota)’ and ‘You’ve Never Played Tower Defense Quite Like This One Promise Party’ just to keep it interesting throughout the year.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
this week in the days of XBLA: absolute MADNESS.
I don't think Flock is worth more than 800 points either. I played the demo and wasn't very impressed tbh.
