Flight of the Conchords coming to Rock Band photo

At the Emmy's this past week, the guys from the Flight of the Conchords let slip that they have a few songs coming to Rock Band. Today, Sub Pop Records, the label for Conchords, confirmed to Team Teabag that a few songs are indeed coming to the music game.

Two of the songs will be from the band's self titled debut album and one other song will be from their upcoming album "I Told You I Was Freaky." It's not clear yet which songs they're going to offer up as DLC, but it should be available around the time the new album is released on October 20. The songs are supposed to be out through Rock Band Network, but that's supposed to coming out in November last we checked.

On a related note, I've really wanted to get into Flight of the Conchords but keep pushing it off. What are some good songs/skits I should check out by them?

Into it is awesome. I'm also a huge fan of The Humans are Dead, and their David Bowie numbers.

I haven't watched much of their show, but I really liked what I saw. I have their first album, and I'd recommend 'Most Beautiful Girl in the Room', 'Robots', or 'Business Time'. You'd probably really like Business Time, Hamza. Just go Not Torrent their self titled album.

I should say, the live version of Issues (Think About It). A bunch of the songs have live versions and show versions on YouTube, and for most of them I prefer the live version.

I wish it were "Business Time," but that is probably too lewd for Rock Band.

TOLD EVERYBODY SO! Gosh. Nobody listens. I've been preaching this for months.

That said I really don't like Flight of the Conchords but I'll be the last person to ever say Harmonix shouldn't throw in a band.

Wont be very difficult, but should be lots of fun and sing-along-able. These will be definite purchases for me.

Good skits or songs? ALL OF THEM. Just search for some live performances on Youtube. For a really really good show, try to find their HBO Special, it has many of their more known songs.

@Dexter: If "Tribute" can mention dropping a cleveland steamer on someone's chest, I think anything in "Business Time" is just fine.

IT'S BUSINESS. IT'S BUSINESS TIME.

Their stand-up is pretty good, they do some improve during it and it adds to the act. But I don't think I'll buy either of the songs. I doubt they'd be fun enough for the price.

Jenny (It isn't on their album so it's a good example of what they do on-stage)

I dunno Dex, they left the cleavland steamer bit in rock your socks. I don't think business time is any racier then that.

Ummm, Hamza, they have a pretty good parody of Lady Lumps by Fergie. It's fairly hilarious.

Bret also has a habit of dancing when angry. Makes for a very 70's esque montage.
