Honestly he looks fine maybe. Perhaps a little scrawny but the hair is just bad. They need to work with it to make it look not fukin ghey. Nero is a good source to look to for a young Dante look. He also wasn't as lanky as this guy either.

You know after getting a good second look on the trailer, it looks like Dante's hair is slowly becoming white throughout the course of the game anyway, so all this crying is probably unjustified. Or maybe not, seeing as this is a series reboot and this probably isn't even the Dante we all know and love. Aside from Mr. Sterling here, there are a couple of us DMC fans that do like the original plot and story settings so it's a little unsettling to just say bye to the faces we've grown to associate with the whole DMC series. What's also a little more unsettling is that they attached Ninja Theory to an already established series, when they have not technically even proven themselves. I love how destructoid continually praise Ninja Theory on Enslaved and what not, and I'll give em this, the game does look nice. But the game isn't out yet, and judging from Heavenly Sword, they have alot to learn about combat. I'm just hoping that the Japanese side of Capcom is still heavily overseeing DMC in the combat dept., because I DO NOT want to end up with a half-assed combat system like their last game. The whole series has always relied heavily on combat, and no matter how dmc looks, the combat HAS to take front row and center, and THAT'S what I mainly care about.
Anyway I'm just rambling now, so to finish up, I'm sort of okay with the (new?) Dante's look, but am looking forward to actually playing the damn thing to start forming some opinions. Also I'm REAAAALLLY hoping he looks alot less emo by the end of his journey in dmc. Here's to hoping Capcom and Ninja Theory can pull this off. Commencing the breath holding now...O_O
