I'm just curious why you see it as a manga streets of rage when it's Mad Max meets Bruce Lee. At least that's a simple way to look at the manga/anime.

but i can see that as a good thing as well. in the anime the low lives have no chance anyway. i can only assume the boss battles should be epic. with blocking and reversals and dodging. not just button mashing.
also, where's is my Pump up the Jam? You lied to me Jim!
I'll probably still get this, but I would have much preferred a Hokuto no Ken Basara over Hokuto no Ken Musou.
Day one purchase for me.
- Flying Kick against a wall causes enemy to stay stuck to the wall and explode.
- More unique sound effects (Screams, pleas like "OH GOD I DON'T WANT TO DIE!")
- Must include this scene and specific sound effect "Oh no!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=po77bJk1DdI :P
- Back/Select button makes you say "Omoi wa mo shinderu"
Totally removes me from the gameworld to just watch an enemy stand there for 5 seconds -- in that first vid we see multiple guys with axes run up, ready the axe...only to stand with it at their side a moment later while their buddy gets their sh*t kicked in.
Very, very in progress. There's no background music or anything.
