Although the graphics are very “last gen” (even when compared to other games on the Wii) something about Opoona intrigues me. Could it be the fact that Final Fantasy XII composer Hitoshi Sakimoto is doing the soundtrack? Or maybe it is the fact that you play the entire game with just the Wii nunchuk attachment? That’s right -- all actions are performed without ever even touching the Wiimote. Pretty cool and innovative, methinks.
No North American release date has been set, but hopefully more info on this quirky RPG will be released soon.

How come we can't get voice acting in Nintendo games? It's shit I hoped for after Sega Genesis came out, yet Nintendo still lacks.

im sorry this game just looks bad. all rpg's on the wii will suck including this game. I ask you this...whats the point in playing an rpg on the wii when the controller gives no benefit and you get gamecube graphics. Take a look at Mass effect then come back and look at this trailer.

I love people like rbrooks. I can just hear his 12 year old voice shrieking and squealing through my wireless headset through Live as we speak. Sounds like your brain went through a Mass Effect after a couple rounds with your daddy's leather belt.
I'm a big proponent of the Wii and its innovative capabilities, but these graphics don't look last gen; they look last-last gen. PS1 launch titles can show up the graphics of this title. I know Nintendo believes that graphics don't matter, but this just seems like the production company is trying to cut corners because they can get away with it by calling it "innovative." I mean, for Jebus' sake, they might as well just release Zork for the Wii.
:-D I realy like the look of that game, so what if its last-gen-zor? I for one, don't give a crack! That games looks like a _fun_ RPG, something I don't often come across.
I wonder if people will ever stop bitching about the Wii's graphics. Aren't RPG's more about story and gameplay and less about graphics anyway. I'd rather play FF6 than FF12, myself. Looks like an interesting game.

I have no opinion onm this game even though im a heavy nintendo fan nothing i saw interested me besides the combat system seemed pretty cool. But this of course means i think it sucks, i just have no opinion. I will form an opinion once i get some info and an english release trailer.
