First picture from the set of Hitman film photo

The mysterious "UNDERSTAR" pointed us in the direction of some one of the first images from the set of the upcoming Hitman film.

As you can see, Agent 47 (played by actor Timothy Olyphant), is not only significantly happier looking than he should be, but also quite a bit younger than you'd expect. But with French director Xavier Gens at the helm, the Skip Woods (Swordfish) screenplay should really dazzle audiences.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go watch BloodRayne.

Maybe I'll change my mind after seeing "Live Free or Die Hard" to see if Timothy can play a true badass but for now I'm with Drift64.

Yeah Stathem FTW!

So far, the current actor seems like a terrible choice... and anyways, Stathem seems fine with just a few sparodic lines now and again. I mean I've seen him do a movie where he was an impotent man that talked way too much, but then again, I've also seen him shutup as well.

I just hope the director keeps the kungfuish hand to hand fighting to a minimum (if not nonexsistent). This movie simply has to feel like the game... long, drawn out sequences of planning, then eventually a discreet murder.

I DO NOT want to watch 47 jump through hoops and off buildings, then fight with chuck norris in the lions den of the New York zoo while a group of cheerleader lesbians have an orgy in the background. ...... ... ... come to think of it, maybe I do.

"he looks like a fanboy at a convention who found the one girl there"

I seriously thought thats what this was until I read the article.

I hope they are not doing the same for the God of war movie.

If I were the casting director I would have literally said:

"Thanks kid, but seriously we are not casting for the freaking remake of "Dawson's creek", you are supposed to be a "Hitman" not a "Hitboy" we are looking for a more Jason Statham type, we'll call you back, NEXT"

"Oh the heck with it, get me Statham agent on the phone, we will pay what the bastard wants"
