I too have a backwards compatible PS3 and my original PS2 Okami so I think i'll wait for a price drop. $9.99 sounds about right.
They haven't made a game that would make me want a Move or Kinect. But thats just because I've never had any intrest in motion controls or touch screen gaming. Controller, mouse & keyboard is all I want/need.

Clearly the PS2 video was on a CRT. And the lens was out of focus. And there was grease smeared on that lens. And then it was digitally doctored to look more blurry. Still psyched to buy this game again. Speaking of, I wish Psychonauts would get the PSN download treatment. Wouldn't even need all the upscaling or trophy support.
Looks awesome! But no it is not worth buying the move. It'll probably control much better without it.
It might be plausible if they captured a composite video from the PS2 and didn't de-interlace the picture.
Maybe this will lead towards a real console sequel... *sigh* one can dream, no?

As long as they don't mess with the original art direction too much, I'll be a happy camper. The Wii version (besides having poorly done motion controls, no loading mini games, and no epilogue), sharpened the colors, removed the ink smearing, and subdued the paper texture on the screen. Those things were meant to make the game look like a moving painting.
Couldn't they bundle this with something. It's a good Zelda clone, but it seems like they could have added another game to sweeten the package... like an upscaled version of Okamiden!
I don't care if it only looks a tid bit better the original game was already magnificent; It's day one purchase for me as I never got to finish the game cos my ps2 crashed; so yeah really no brainer.

Okami was so beautiful because it's art style wasn't precise. It looked like it was painted with just a few brush strokes. Sure the HD version looks nice, but it is so very not needed.
Gonna skip this. Capcom wants to charge full price for gussied up six year old game whose creators aren't even employed by Capcom anymore.

I really, REALLY wish that they had put this out physically so I could buy it used. I want it badly but I refuse to give money to Capcom.

Ooh, isn't that great, a talentless company is trying to sell a game they already sold you once AGAIN, except this time IT HAZ PRETTIER GRAFIX!
Surely, cheating people out of backwards-compatibility was soooo worth it if we can get nickel and dimed like this, amirite?
Oh, and let's not forget that Capcom can pull this off in order to mask that they area a creatively bankrupt company with literally NOTHING to offer except ripping people off with "remakes", like every other publisher that ever released a cancerous HD "remake".
And let's not forget that the people who worked on this game won't ever see a single dime from tha sales of this abortion.
