While Microsoft is busy talking up its impressive-looking entertainment features for the Xbox One, let's look at something more relevant to gaming: the controller. Here it is!

I'm glad to see that the form is similar to the Xbox 360's gamepad. From the looks of it, the d-pad has been given a refresh, which absolutely needed to happen. Thank goodness for that. Microsoft says there have been "40 design innovations," including new "impulse triggers" and an integrated battery compartment.
