First look at 'Splosion Man's Avatar Awards photo

Back when I was regularly playing 'Splosion Man on Xbox LIVE Arcade, I put a great deal of thought into trying to guess what the unlockable Avatar items would be. A scientist outfit? A mini 'Splosion Man? Yes, I spent more time daydreaming about it than any sane person ever would.

Joystiq has a picture of the Avatar Awards and the details on how you can get them. The image above is pretty straightforward, but to get either the science-themed t-shirt or dress, you have to complete every last level in the co-op campaign.

Twisted Pixel isn't sure when the clothes will be available, but it "should be coming soon." And if you've already finished 'Splosion Man, don't sweat it -- these Awards will work retroactively.

I wasn't happy when I saw these. Like you I spent a long time wondering what the awards would be, a splosion man suit and headgera, a splosion man prop? No just some t-shirts... Better than nothing though

According to TwistedPixel you would be awarded retroactively, so there's no need to wait till the update if you wanna go after this.

There's another unconfirmed award: t-shirt and hoodie with skull omen logo of GoW2 for gaining level 100 in multiplayer and kill 100.000 enemies respectively. However, since you can buy this shitty staff for 80 MP, since these supposed prizes are both related to existing achievements, and mainly since people have a lot of spare time for mindtripping, i prefer thinking is a fake. ugh they should have something like a lab coat or a hat that looks like the top of Splosion mans head. Hell even flaming juggling balls like his idle animation would be cooler

We can't complain at all about FREE SHIT that Twisted Pixel is throwing in FOR FREE. Did I mention that it's FREE?

Seriously, kudos to Twisted Pixel for throwing fans a bone and putting in a few extras. Small gestures like this go a long way in my book. Now I just need to find a co-op buddy and get through these levels. Any takers?
