Big news for fans of the original NES Excitebike -- an all new, updated version of the game will be hitting WiiWare on November 9.
Called Excitebike World Rally, the game will feature the same core gameplay as the original, utilizing either the Wii Remote's motion controls or the buttons for a more classic feel. Like the original, the game will also feature a track editor. But here's the big news -- Excitebike World Rally will also support online multiplayer.
As a big Excitebike fan, I'm er... excited. Watching the trailer, as revealed on Nintendo's weekly online Wii video program (delivered via the Wii's Nintendo Channel), Nintendo Weekly, gets me even more worked up.
Maybe the multiplayer will be like in the original, you know, advertised on the box but actually not in the game... LOL! that thing will never stop amusing me.
Awesomesauce. Looks like they've kept the feeling and "physics" from the original. Must try it. I work at a company we're we've made a similar game for PC. You can try it here: http://www.madskillsmotocross.com/

What? Since when has Wiiware started putting out good games? I like the direction this is headed. With NSMB, Castlevania, and this, my Wii isn't getting any rest soon.
