During Sony's latest press conference, we got a brief look at the mysterious PS4/PS3/Vita RPG, Natural Doctrine, but now we have some more info and screenshots to ogle at. It appears as if the game will deal with humans co-existing with other races, which they are in constant combat with. Apparently, one of your quests is to help a band of miners build a giant wall around a city.

That isn't a whole lot to go on, but there's a ton of screenshots in the gallery, showing off the game's demonic and mechanical foes. It's on course to arrive next February with the launch of the PS4 in Japan.

Natural Doctrine multiplayer set to inconsistent, yet still good music

The music goes from weird rock to just weird to typical RPG orchestral sounding. And still sounds alright.  Natty Doc (Natural Doctrine), the brutal, sort of ugly turn-based strategy game, also has mutliplayer...more

Natural Doctrine still looks ugly, but it might be fun

Natural Doctrine isn't exactly good-looking, but it's a strategy role-playing game with a protagonist named Jeff. I like strategy role-playing games. They're some of my favorites. And Jeffs are okay, I guess. It's not like I...more

Natural Doctrine is a brutal, sort of ugly turn-based strategy game

Sure, Natural Doctrine doesn't look great (well, the environments; it does look better in miniature on the Vita). It's a far cry from director Atsushi Ii's gorgeous minimalism in Patapon. But Kadokawa Games' first intern...more

NIS takes us to an island paradise, battles us, then travels back in time

NIS was a bit of a hidden treasure at E3. The publisher shared a booth with Atlus and it took me stopping and actually looking at what was on display at the demo station to put two and two together. The search was well worth it because I was rewarded with a closer look at three upcoming titles: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited, and Natural Doctrine.more

Natural Doctrine will have cross-play & cross-save on PS4, PS3, and Vita

Kadokawa Game Studio's inaugural title, Natural Doctrine, is coming to the west thanks to NIS. The SRPG from Patapon director Atsushi li looks pretty interesting, though you can't really judge the game based on a CG trailer....more

Natural Doctrine videos show uninterrupted gameplay, bare thighs

Hah, okay, this is still a bit confusing. I'm still not sure how the boxes work. Maybe they're range stat based and actions doesn't take moves separately from movement. But then why would there be a series of boxes? Also, wh...more
