Nuh Uh! Winning a Shit Hot Gaming PC is awesomesauce!
Still, I'll probably get the console version though, probably PS3. This is coming out on consoles right?
Will watch this on said PC when I get home.
Gonna be picking up another HD5770 for this. Probably. Or just replacing the one I've got.
"hopefully they fixed their fucked up unlock system."
Not to mention the millions of weird-ass bugs we've come to live with. Stats being reset to zero, the win/lose glitch, spot button not working unless you're at a certain angle... I could go on all day. (Or at least for another minute or so.)
Still, this has me VERY excited. The only thing that's managed to pull me away from BC2 is Bulletstorm... but I have a feeling I'll be revisiting it next time I feel the need to shoot down a Huey :)
"What's this nonsense? I thought PC gaming didn't require spending fortunes on upgrades? I hear that all the time."
Who are you talking to?
And you're going to be playing the console version? LoL. That would suck.
That's what PCs are all about.
Depends I say. If they are releasing parallel on consoles then this may hang on GPU which for most PC users is not much of a worry or financial concern at this point. However I wonder if the consoles are not able to use DX10/11 how is it the PC version is forced to? Not that I am complaining just an oddity is all.
My biggest concern is whether or not I will need a new board for this, since I already have some beastly quad cores but PC exclusives like Shogun 2 apparently to play at maximum fuck-awesome requirs the newest set of i7 Intel chipsets. Not that that would be any more expensive than a whole new video card but it would require a fairly radical restructure of my current hardware.
Now all they need is a good single player campaign and I might finally be interested in the Battlefield series.
Bad Company 2 had a pretty great single-player campaign, in my opinion. There was a great variety in the missions, and the personalities of the characters worked a lot better than in BC1.
you do realize that multiplayer is the primary mode in the battlefield series, don't you?
I'm sure you can play the game on a C2D with a decent video card. But Battlefield doesn't have the best reputation of being mild on your hardware. I doubt it will be Crysis 1 levels of pain, but this trailer does kinda look like it has every possible effect turned to the max in DX11 :)
also those graphics if ingame are mindblowing.
I have awsome hardware, let me use it. I'm not running a shitty console.
Good way to get ocd, being a pc gamer.
im a PC gamer and i could care less for graphics, they are just an extra in any game, gameplay and story ( RPG's, etc) are first
