This is shaping up to be the first real RPG for the 3DS.

FFFFFinally, I never played the original but I've been craving for an rpg for my 3DS lately. And what better way to start than with a game from the Shin Megami Tensei series.

Other than that, I believe Yuzu is the same girl that played Rika in Digimon Tamers. And now I Googled it, so I'm sure. She's pretty competent, so even if I wanted her to sound a little girlier, she's alright. And, even though Atsuro was a techno geek, I still imagined him to have a slightly deeper voice. Whom I'm assuming to be Amane, that one is perfect for me. Sounds alright to good so far, so I'm happy.

Just you wait until they unveil that the original version of the game will have a save transfer feature for the sequel since they're both on the DS.
I'm looking forward to this game, especially since I never got the original version. I, for one, am cool with voices. They sound appropriate for what are probably supposed to be seemingly normal teenage kids. Also, have voice work for almost every line is huge.

Devil Survivor is my least favorite SMT game and while a good game it was boring to play repeatedly. Needless to say I am not getting this. On the other hand, Devil Survivor 2 I will probably get.

I'm surprised Atlus let this voice over be on the game. For a company that usually have high standards these are pretty bad.
Seeing the game and listening to the music makes me want to take a 3rd trip into this game. So much fun!

The Games sounds ok to me... voices will be cheesy in japanese also... they all are.

the voices are pretty bad.... you traded in OG Devil Survivor for this ? why not just wait for Devil Survivor 2 ?
It'll probably be a year or two until I get around to purchasing a 3DS. Do I wait until then to get the newer better version, or do I just buy the orignal DS version?

Oh come on! Those voices are beyond terrible! They're even trying to pronounce Japanese names, which western people always fail at (and these idiots fail miserably!) How is that a good thing? This is a no buy simply because I fucking despise these ridiculously amateru voice "actors". What, they picked up some random highschool dropouts and paid them a burger to read through the script with as much emotion as a lump of shit on the sidewalk?
