While we weren't able to attend Amusement Expo 2010 in Las Vegas, the boys at Arcade Heroes were all about the convention -- and they even captured footage of the new Pac-Man game. Heck yes!
Pac-Man Battle Royale, as its properly called, is a four-player versus game with slight elements of cooperativeness. Aesthetically, it's much like Pac-Man Championship Edition. Mechanically, you eat up dots as always, and can turn into Super Pac-Man to kill other players.
Again, I say: heck yes! I'm not sure what Namco Bandai is planning for distribution; all I know is that this is a game I must play at some point.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

That's a cool cabinet, but they better be charging only $0.25 or $0.50 per person, or at least offer some kind of group discount if it's more expensive than that. Otherwise, it'll be hard to get 4 people playing at once.
Of course, there's no way they won't release it on PSN/XBLA/(maybe)WiiWare, since there's no way they could make a profit just selling an arcade cabinet.

Speaking of co-op versus Pac-Man games, last week I got Pac-Man Vs. and I'm loving it! The game is a total blast(with four friends)!
You ready?! If you have three GameCube controllers, one GameBoy Advance, an Advance cable and three friends, you need to own this game. Seriously.
Also, it's Miyamoto produced with added Mario(Charles Martinet) commentary! =D
