Atlus has sent along the first localized screens for upcoming DS SRPG Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2. There's also the game's box art, seen for the first time today. It's been awhile since we've heard anything about this sequel, so it's nice to get this big update today.

I'm really looking forward to this second game in the series, though I find myself wishing it was a 3DS title instead. I know I'll be playing it on a 3DS, so I'd rather it use that nicer top screen for something.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 will be released in early 2012. I'm sure that this is the last DS game I'll buy.

Review: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2

Atlus gave DS owners a strategy game treat when they mixed the demon collecting, fusing, and turn-based battles of the Shin Megami Tensei series with a classic tactical RPG formula in 2009's Devil Survivor, bringing fans out ...more

Preview: Devil Survivor 2 is great, has high-set boobs

Final Fantasy: Record Keeper is out today, and it kicks the crap out of All the Bravest

Final Fantasy: All the Bravest was a travesty. It played itself, it was pretty abrasive in its pandering, and the microtransactions were so pushy that it was hard to enjoy it without feeling like you were constantly being sold something. Final Fantasy: Record Keeper is another free-to-play game in the same vein, but it's a much better effort that doesn't feel straight-up insulting to fans.more
