This trailer managed to elude us when it went live a few days ago, and that needs to be rectified. FireFall is a free-to-play open-world third-person-shooter, which means that this sentence has a lot of hyphens. It also looks really cool.
The game seems to be simple enough -- there's a huge world with loads of players in it, boosting around on jetpacks and shooting everything. That's exactly what I like to see in my videogames, so I'm pretty eager to check it out.

This game is near the top of my PC gaming must-have list. I think it looks absolutely stellar, especially for a title I can play for $0. Give it to me. Now.
can't wait to play it. Big fan of the Tribes type of teamplay..and while this game doesn't have skiing, it does appear to have that same type of teamplay
I caught this one this morning as well. It certainly looks interesting, but I also got the feeling it could use more money behind it. Looks a bit janky. However, it is free.

I played Firefall last year at PAX and even then it was a very impressive shooter. The mechanics were awesome, the art style looks great, and all of the different classes were fun to play.
