Firefall's frantic frenzy firestorm of firepower

12:00 PM on 05.01.2011

Firefall is the upcoming PC FPS from the developer Red 5 Studios. I gave the game a whirl at PAX East and it was a pretty fun game. Watching the video will remind you a lot of Team Fortress 2, what with the different classes and the unique art style. Something that's going to set this apart from other first-person PvP shooters, though, is the fact that it's taking on the free-to-play business model. PLUS EVERYONE GETS JETPACKS!

The new trailer not good enough for you? Well then you should join Red 5 on Justin.TV this Friday at 6PM where fans will get to talk to the developers of Firefall LIVE! They'll also be showing off the game's Spectator Mode for the first time.

Firefall will be out this Winter.

Video: Wilhelm is like a Terminator on rocket skates in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Back with more impressions from playing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, I had some first-hand playtime with the cybernetic tough guy, Wilhelm the Enforcer, which I would like to relate to you with my mouth. Wilhelm may not be all he's cracked up to be, yet. But he's got a couple of interesting surprises.more
