Find Just Cause 2 in your store of choice this March photo

The recent talk of Pandemic has made me realize something: I haven't played a truly crazy action game since Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. And no, Modern Warfare 2 doesn't count. Can you fall hundreds of feet from a helicopter and still survive the landing? Exactly.

Just Cause 2, or as I like to call it sometimes, Just 'Cause 2, looks to be the next decent void-filler. Between the grappling hook improvements and the increased options for base jumping with a more vertical game world, I cannot wait for March 23 to get here.

I was the guy who spent an unholy amount of time just flying peacefully through the sky in Super Mario 64. Who knows what will happen to my social life when Just Cause 2 hits. Bad things, probably.

I hope it turns out well. I was excited by the original then when I finally played it I was left wanting. I hated the targeting mechanic, helicopters weren't fun and the was very very little variety in gameplay. Maybe they'll get it right.

But personally I think Red Faction Guerilla filled the Mercenaries void better than Mercs 2 did.

That's exactly what I think of it - Just 'Cause 2. I mean, I really love the first game for its pointless action and rappelling stuff, but the name of the series just speaks for itself. I will probably buy this when it is in the bargain bin and enjoy the crap out of it for about two weeks.

Jordan, I used to do "speed dives" in Mario 64, a maneuver I invented where I would launch out of the cannon with wings and do steep dives to gain as much speed as possible, and then dive under the wobbly bridge at the nadir of Bobomb Battlefield before pulling up into the sun. I did this for hours. I was 11.

I can understand perfectly well why JC2 is appealing. I don't know if I will buy it, but I would surely love to give it a spin for some speed dives.

As long as it improves on the first one, which was mind numbingly repetitive, then I'm in.

Dude I cant wait for JC2 (hey like Jesus Christ...) I recently picked up the first for under $10, that game is waaay under rated! The draw distance and dense foliage gives Oblivion a run for its money. This one looks so sexy.

I'm so glad you can see the connection between those two games. I recently started playing SM64 again, and it's making me look forward to Just Cause 2 even more.

Also, that guy was me.

Out of every game released in 2009 and to be released in 2010, I'm looking forward to this the most.

ooooh, March is going to be fun. I'm getting tired of buying every single game I want on release, or near release.

i want to be able to browse the game store again without already having played everything there!

i foresee this being a browsing find a little later as I've got a lot of games to play in march. I'm gonna be totally stoked when I come across it at a bargain price later in the year.

Still one of my most anticipated games, just not a frist day buy for me, rather a 2 months after awesome find and joyous return to the days of game store browsing.

Am I not buying games so that i can browse them later? Oh dear.
