Finalists for 2BeeGames' Indie Game Competition revealed
The ten finalists for 2BeeGames' Indie Game Competition have been chosen. Let it be known that this is the second competition -- our strict headline character limit here at Destructoid didn't want to cut me any slack today. The jerk! Of the ten independent games, the one who gains the most support from voters and a panel of judges will get a cool $10,000 and the chance to get their project published on consoles with Zoo Games. As we recently heard, last year's winner, Auditorium, is being brought to consoles. So yeah, those votes matter. The top games this year are:
While I can't say I am completely familiarized with all of the entrants' games, I can certainly vouch for Tower of Heaven. The game even comes with the Joseph Leray seal of approval to boot. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Tower of Heaven is fantastic. I might just attempt Speed Run mode just because I enjoyed it so much. Plus the music is great.
I'm definitely going to try the rest. Tower of Heaven is the only one Ive played as well. It was short and fairly easy, but it was also really fun and had great music and nice visuals. I'll have to check out some of the other games on the list. Only played tower of heaven. And oh man was it great! I even played through it again just a few days ago to find both the secrets ^^ With some stylish gameboy visuals and simply jawdropping music from flashygodness the others really have to impress to top that. Even though the game was fairly short and kind of easy which doesn't really fit well on a console, hmm going to have to check out the others :P This post reminded me i had to finish tower of heaven, and my god, it was worth it.
