Well, that’s not entirely true. It’s Saturday evening, and I was just looking for an eye-catching title. Sue me.
Back in high school, I used to do lots of fantasy sports -- my friends and I would do the four major ones (baseball, football, hockey, basketball) all the time. But the problem with being in a fantasy league is that it demands a significant time investment. You’ve got to be on top of all the goings-on around the league of the particular sport, which adds a lot of stress to your life. Plus, you’re often forced to root against your own team just because a player on the opposing team is on your fantasy team.
Long story short, it’s an infinite series of headaches, and frankly, I just haven’t had the time for it since high school. But 2K Sports tried to make it easier for people to partake in fantasy leagues with MLB Front Office Manager, which came out this past Tuesday. The game features (what looks like) pretty extensive support for fantasy leagues -- you can have up to 29 other people in your league, with each person controlling one of the thirty MLB teams.
If this sounds like your cup of tea (Gatorade?), then check out MLB Front Office Manager; it’s available now for $40 on PS3, 360, and PC. Hit up the second developer diary for information on scouting.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
