Microsoft's retail training site, Expertzone, has a listing for a Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 bundle set to hit American shores later this year. jmoe316 on NeoGAF found the promo ad which states the system will include a 250GB harddrive, two controllers and a copy of Final Fantasy XIII. The system will go for $399 and the listing says the bundle will be for a black console yet the packaging is showing off a white console.
Microsoft and Square Enix haven't officially announced this bundle, but X10 is later this week where we'll probably be hearing more about this along with a ton of new details on Microsoft's first party line-up such as Alan Wake, Halo: Reach, Fable III and more.
This isn't a bad bundle, but I can't help feel jealous as the Japanese only PS3 bundle > this Xbox 360 bundle.

You're a fucking idiot. First of all, this is a photoshop/moshup of something listed on a Microsoft retail site and everyone is speculating this to be revealed at X10 this Thursday. Gameinformer also has sources saying this bundle and a Splinter Cell bundle is coming up.
Secondly, this doesn't show what the bundle includes. Major Nelson leaked a FF13 plate for an Xbox 360 which people are speculating is in this bundle.
Third, I know plenty of people buying this for X360, and someone picking up an X360 with a preorder of FFXIII and ME2. There's also a ton of people interested in this bundle of GAF and Xbox forums, and I'll be picking one up myself for the HDD upgrade.
This just reeks of desperation on MS's part. "We have final fantasy too... see? SEE? We got a special edition too."
Its a marketing tactic. Its been used since the NES. Stop being delusional as to the reasons.

They lost massive profits last year so they can't afford for ff13 to be anything less than spectacular and its obvious the ps3 version is gonna be the money maker here and they've done nothing to raise the hype.

Despite the fact that SE lost money last year, their profits are already up around 100% in 2009's Fiscal year without even the western FFXIII release. You sound like you're spouting nonsense.
The PS3 is pretty sleek with the white/pink combo. I really like it, though not as much as the also-JP only Yakuza 3 PS3.
