Square's new Fabula Nova Crystallis project has been getting a fair bit of attention lately. The trailers of FFXIII and Versus from E3 wowed everyone. I found the FF trailer in particular to be pretty mindblowing. It looks like the new set of games is going to take the series in a different direction and I'm excited to see what the final products will look and play like.
Alas, we still haven't managed to acquire the FFXIII trailer that played at the Jump Fiesta in December. Let's keep our fingers crossed. In the mean time, here's some neat scans of all three games in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series for you to drool over. Am I the only one here with a huge crush on Lightning?
Unfortunately, I can't read Japanese and DMV and his limited Japanese knowledge are too busy getting drunk in Vegas.

Meh..who am I kidding? it is likely that i'll wait until after it's release before i buy one. just so long as the library is there for the system that is. cause im not paying 600 dollars just to play one game
And for some reason seeing two versions of FFXIII released at the same time makes me wonder if Squeenix is going to milk FF like Nintendo does with Pokemon (e.g. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl two faces to the same game)
I highly doubt they'll release them at the same time. There will be at least a few months between these releases. They don't want to cannibalize their own sales.
That being said, the stuff I've seen that's real-time (from XIII, not versus as I've only seen prerendered stuff for versus so far) looks freakin' amazing.
I also doubt a 360 port, as it sounds like the white engine was specifically developed for the PS3.
