The gameplay is interesting. So it's like Active Time Battle except for the fact that EVERYONE attacks at their own time instead of waiting to attack one by one.
It looks really good as far as the graphics and gameplay goes, and the music is awesome too.
XII nearly killed my love of FF but those vids single handily brought it all back for me.
I want it. That afro does it for me. Also, why did square recycle Zanarkand/Midgar?
Anyway I'm sick of seeing video's of this game, its just reminding me of the year long wait we have till we actually get the game.
Is the RPG way. Every rpg game consists of one cave level, one forest level, one dungeon level, etc... you get the point.
Which is to say: I am for excited muchly please hooray!

I didn't think Josh in RE5 was a stereotype though, but I mean, Barret was, to a certain extent, haha.
Vs is set in the same universe but a totally different story altogether,its also done by the kindom hearts team and expected to have a similar combat engine.
is this game supposed to be a lot darker then your standard RPG fare?
With the people falling of the bridge and what not, it seems to be just just a smidge badass. but just a smidge

Nobuo Uematsu is working on most of the soundtrack, so expect the soundtrack to be epic.
Also, FF12 was a pure disappointment. In terms of story and characters, two major strengths in a Final Fantasy game.
I agree completely about FF12. I beat every Final Fantasy from 1-10 gleefully, and played FF11. I couldn't bring myself to complete more than 10 hours of 12, I just couldn't.
I'm so looking forward to this game.

Combat seems like a bit of XII with ATB. I would like to be able to control all the characters though. And, this whole guns doing minimal damage thing becomes more tough to swallow with a stronger focus on graphical realism. But, hey if it's fun.
