Final Fantasy XIII demo available when you buy Advent Children

Final Fantasy XIII demo available when you buy Advent Children photo
     PS3

Basically, Final Fantasy VII is coming out. The big problem is it’s only Advent Children on Blu-Ray. According to FinalFantasyIII.net, Advent Children: Complete will hit retailers next March, with a playable demo of FFXIII right out of the box. The information was relayed at Square’s DKΣ3713 thing in Japan.

A few trailers will also be included in the two disc Advent Children release, including one for Final Fantasy Versus XIII and the PSP release of Final Fantasy Agito XIII. The entire set will be in glorious HD, so you can see Cid’s mouth muscles twist as he smokes his cigarette. The price of the package has yet to be confirmed.

Obviously, the demo will only be playable on the PlayStation 3, so score one for the guys that thought they were abandoned in favor of Microsoft. Personally, I’m not a big fan of having to buy movies to play demos, but Square Enix has this particularly nasty habit of making me excited about their upcoming releases. Will any of you be picking this up for just the demo, or do you love Advent Children enough to buy it again anyway?

I'll fucking buy it, and I'll feel like a dirty whore when I do. After all, I'm being fed by the biggest whore of them all, Square Enix. Their business tactics are smart though, I've got to hand it to them on this one.

I don't even want the shitty movie.

If it were the exact same movie I wouldn't buy it again but Square has said that they have added brand new scenes and story elements into Advent Children complete.

Also some major overhauls to the visuals to the film. So, no, I dont regret buying the DVD and I'll be buying ACC on BD when it hits.

The FFXIII demo is just icing on the cake.

I really like Advent Children but if the bonuses (not counting the XIII demo) don't make it worth buying again after owning the movie on DVD then I won't be picking this up.

I was already planning to get the Blu-Ray edition of Advent Children anyway (my first actual purchase of anything besides games on Blu-Ray), so it's no skin off my nose, but MARCH 2009?! Come on!

I'll buy the Blu-ray version like I was planning to, since I haven't seen it and could use a pretty movie to show off on my HDTV. Heard the plot sucked, though.

do want. I don't think the movie's that bad, at least there's a ton of fan service. I'm kind of glad the release is far off, because it gives my wallet time to recover from the holiday video game rush.

I already have Advent Children but consider it bought for a 2nd time!

I liked the movie and would genuinely love to see it in HD, plus I only have the single disc DVD. So I'll be buying yes.

Some test SE is throwing out to every FF fan. I have to admit, I haven't been too deep into the series for so many years. Sure I might take a dive once in awhile (and drive a friend crazy for saying "its not that great, but its not bad either".

As I may be an owner of the LE boxed version of Advent Children. This re-release has me questioning things a bit. Are they going to push the movie, just as much as their games? Advent Children - Directors Cut / Advent Children - Rock Star Edition / AC - Vincent Valentine's super happy funtime adventure / AC - Dir En Grey'd Glay Gackt-esque Mizer
(see where i'm going with this?)

Hopefully the Blu-Ray will be codefree. Since I really want to buy that movie. Again.

I don't plan on buying Advent Children again. Ever. Didn't like it the first time around, and I would only end up paying for trailers and a demo.

Wouldn't it make better sense to bundle those with a game as they did with DQ8?

I was already going to pick it up, but the demo makes a nice extra bonus.

I was going to buy AC Bluray anyways, but it's too bad other ps3 owners will have to wait to get the demo. I'm afraid AC is going to be pretty expensive too.....

I really dig Advent Children so I'll probably end up buying this, even if it didn't come with any demos.

I actually wouldn't mind having that movie on Blu-Ray, so getting a demo along with it might not be too bad.

Since I like blu-ray and don't own advent children and it comes with a demo I guess I will have to buy it.
