Final Fantasy XIII Agito new details: summons and Wi-Fi play photo
     PSP

The most neglected of Square Enix's three youngest sons, Final Fantasy XIII Agito, is now screaming for attention again. We give the poor guy love, but as Jim has said before, no one talks about Agito, preferring to speak of XIII and Versus instead. Agito, don't cry. We'll talk about you for a bit today.

The follow-up to the PSP title Crisis Core can be played with friends. Siliconera tells us that Agito is a multiplayer game, supporting ad-hoc and infrastructure modes. Screens from the news post on Famitsu show a three-member party beating down some gun-faced robo felines. The caption for this image (above) says that the game will use a "super-high-speed Active Time Battle system." Sounds fun.

There are summons in Final Fantasy XIII Agito. Surprised? We weren't either. But 1UP says that every character in Agito has the ability to cast summons, and that you'll be able to directly control them on the battlefield. Word is that Odin and Sleipnir have made screenshot appearances already. Bring back Knights of the Round so I can spam that over and over again!

There, Agito. Feel better now?

It looks like that second screenshot is Knights of the Round. 12 knights right?

Considering I don't think Crisis Core was that awesome, I hope it has a different battle system than Crisis.
