Finally beat FF13 a few weeks ago. Honestly didn't think it was that bad. My biggest issue is in chapter 11 grinding was basically required and at least for me even after grinding to be max at that point in time some battle were still more tough than they should be.

I approve of Lightning's new armor. If it is somewhat less linear and the build on the paradigm system, and they ditch all of the story from the first game, I think I can get into this.
I'd think you guys would have a few forms with blanks for these by now with some random descriptors thrown in.

This game looks tacky. Like, there are SOOOO many colors, you'd think it was some weeaboo's DeviantArt account full of Kingdom Hearts OC yaoi.

I'm hoping we see Snow at some point. He was my favourite character of the whole lot, simply because he punched things when everyone else was using fancy weapons.

I'm honestly hoping, now that they have had a solid toolset and engine to build with for a couple of more years, that this title will be better designed and more interesting than XIII. That makes sense, right? Am I stupid? It's okay, you can be honest. (Don't be honest.)

See, this was one of my biggest issues with the game. They went along telling you (they being Square, as well as a lot of gaming news sites, around the games release) that you didn't need to grind, that you'd be okay with the experience you got along the whole game.. Then you hit around chapter 11 and you more or less HAD to grind, or you'd be mauled senseless. So a game that moves along at a brisk pace, suddenly becomes deadlocked in the very sort of experience the developers claimed they didn't want you to be in all along. It felt very much like a bait and switch deal to me.

As for this game, meh, I'll get it, but once I find it in the bargain bin, after all I do have to keep my collection of FF games up to date.

Count me as one of the people who hopes this isn't too much of a change from XIII. Open up the world a bit, sure, but the battle system in XIII was a LOT of fun.
Yay, all the characters that I despise and made sure I will never past the first disc are BACK baby. Wooooo.
Looks interesting, but i'm not getting it. The series has really gone down hill since 10. FF13 was total shit. The battle system encourages you to let the computer take control and do everything for you. The dialog is terrible even by FF standards, and the characters are incredibly unlikable.

Fat Fapping Falcie! We get to fight him, and it's got a frigging QTE. I'm saddened by what transpires in these pictures. I'll wait until this game is $5 in the bargains before I pick it up.
