Yesterday it was announced that Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet 2 would get some Final Fantasy VII treatments. That sounds like a fun idea until you actually see them. Gah! Aeris/Aerith looks so derpy that I can't look at the above image for too long. That's a face that needs to die and be dropped into the Lifestream! The rest of the team are also pretty goofy looking. Maybe Tifa is pulling it off, but just barely.
Aeris joins Cloud, Tifa, Vincent and even Sephiroth in the Final Fantasy VII costume pack, which is slated to hit the PlayStation Store on July 13th. Each costume will be available for $1.99, or you can nab the whole lot of them for $5.99.
In related news, inFamous' Cole will be getting a Sackboy version for LBP2, as will some familiar Killzone 3 faces. Finally, a Toy Story pack will contain three characters and new Toy Story-themed levels to play. Look for details on that soon.
