I thought a North American release for the upcoming Square Enix PSP title was a given, but I guess it wasn't. Final Fantasy Type-0 is sounding pretty cool, so I'm glad that Tetsuya Nomura says that they are at least investigating a downloadable version and overseas version of the title. Thanks for thinking of us, I guess.
This news comes out of a Q&A session from Famitsu. From this we've also learned that this spin-off game has 14 main characters. Hah! That's so Square Enix of them. Siliconera says that the expected clear time for the game is around 30 to 40 hours, but could get up to 100 hours for those that want to do everything.
In it we also learned that the Japanese release of the game, which was slated for this summer, has now been pushed back to later this year. It sits at 80 percent complete as of now. The team is trying to work on the multiplayer aspect of the game, but the PSN outage screwed their schedule up a bit.
