I love this marketing. If they're on the fence about it, then it's edgy and hip. No chance in hell they can afford NOT to release it over here.

yeah, spend 6 years and countless millions of dollars developing a FF game and then only release it in one region. That would've been a brilliant move.

@timtheterrible - I wonder what would have happened if SquareSoft never acquired Enix? Gotta admit, there was definitely a dip in quality since they merged.
Isn't this one being written by the guy who did the story for Birth By Sleep and/or The 3rd Birthday? If so, I'll likely download it cause the story for BBS was horrid.

In case you didn't know. There is life outside of Japan. I know the majority is gun loving, hardheaded, and emotionally and sexually insecure... But there other options. It pains me to think of the people that only see merit in something if it's got a J before it's genre. I'm somewhat obsessed over 1920's German film, and I still enjoy modern classics just as well. While it's true that outside RPGs there is mostly SHOOTAN and PLAYAN SPORTS, you've already Marginalized yourself into a single cultural corner, why cry wolf when there's more to be seen outside of your fabricated cultural trappings. When I think of the Jkids I knew in school, I appreciate their tastes and I'm glad I've seen the evangelion stuff and VHD, but when I see these Jkids now, I'm glad Im not wearing trip pants at 26 with a steel ball necklace and smelling like their pets + cigarettes.
Point is, don't trap yourself behind a scene or image or culture. The world is full of Terribly beautiful things, and most JRPGs are substandard at best these days anyhow.

I too thought it was given that we were getting the title; seeing as I enjoyed crisis core I am very much looking forward to the title.
Could have sworn that Agito was already coming Stateside. And all of a sudden with a name change, it MIGHT be coming our way...And now he's going to come out and say something crazy like "We may officially get started on FF vs XIII sometime in the next 10 years and I will continue to ponder if I will ever make a main Kingdom Hearts without 20 more portable side stories!"
