Final Fantasy: Dissidia is available on PSN now photo

It was not too long ago that I was bitching about Dissidia not being available on the PlayStation Network. It was up on the Japanese PSN, but no dice for North America. PSPgo owners want to play, too!

Today, Square Enix ends the wait with the release of Final Fantasy: Dissidia on the PlayStation Network, ready for download on your PSP or PSPgo. This 3D brawler starring the Final Fantasy All-Stars (that would make a fantastic basketball team) isn't the end-all fighting game, but it's pretty good, and makes for a great road trip game. There's something to be said for button-mashy fan service games.

If you were one of the others that bitched about this game's absence, go get it now. It's currently available for the same price as the UMD version, $39.99.

@Bigmoose I guess you haven't seen the older art concepts, but this Kefka is Nomura's interpretation of Amano's art concepts and its not too far off from it. Even Nomura's own designs were given some Amano flavoring

Also, its not on PSN yet >.>

"It's currently available for the same price as the UMD version, $39.99."

Which is why I say "No." I'll wait until a used store has it for the used price Sony/Square-Enix should be selling it new on PSN.

I can either drive 15 minutes and go get it on it's own media or wait 15 minutes (maybe more) for it to take up some of my precious media.

Hence, I don't get it at all. Win.

I t is really stupid that Celes, and Yuna are not playable characters, they can be considered to be main characters. In FFVI, it is Celes's struggles being overcome, not Terra's, that lead to Kefka's defeat. And the FFX saga is centered more around Yuna.

Everyday Legend
It's a pseudo-fighting game and yet has no Sabin. Curious. And sad.

I'm happy for you and I'mma let you think that but Terra was the lead character of FFVI. Everyone had a big role, but Terra was at the center of it all and suffered the most at the hands of Kxfka.

Since summons aren't used for anything but status boosts, Yuna would have been pretty useless. And if you had Yuna instead of Tidue, Seymour would have had to replace Jecht. The villain side was already loaded to the brim with mages, though. Plus Jecht had ties to Sin, Seymour was a secondary villain.

Dale, I think you should link to my blog review and not the "I'm doing it wrong" review Jim posted.

This game's making me work my ass off for a Cid Highwind player icon. Damn moogles and their demanding questions.
