Square Enix has partnered WB and DC for a PlayArts Kai line of Batman toys designed by Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura. Not a single zipper in sight.

The first prototype, above, is gracing Comic Con and looking a bit like Death Scythe from Gundam Wing (with some Spawn in there, maybe).
