As someone who doesn't like MMOs, but likes Final Fantasy, I might just try it out. Fourteen may be the perfect number of days for me to get my fill. Or maybe I'll find myself a convert and end up a paying customer, as Square Enix likely hopes.

Last weekend, Square Enix screwed with its fans with too much pomp around announcing a PS4 release of the original Final Fantasy VII, seemingly a port of last year's PC release.
You can get last year's PC release for $12 on Steam, but when Final Fantasy VII comes to PS4 in spring of 2015, it will be $16. I guess that's $4 for "system-exclusive features." The Share button, maybe? more
