Start practicing if you haven't already

Whether you're a competitor, an attendee, or a casual observer, it's never too early to start planning for next year's Evo. The legendary fighting game tournament returns to Las Vegas on July 11-13, 2014 at the LVH. Xbox 360 has also been named the console of the event, though it's worth noting that games not available for the platform will not be excluded.

This year's Evolution Championship Series was particularly enjoyable for me. It was one thing to see a general sense of excitement from you guys in the comments, but a handful of us on staff were able to watch the streams together throughout the week. All of the best moments are made that much better when in good company. I can't wait to see what Evo 2014 brings.
