EVO 2010 will be taking place at the Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas from July 9 to the 11 next year. EVO is the place to be to test your skills against some of the best fighting game players in the world. Games such as Street Fighter IV, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Guilty Gear and many other top fighting games are all present during the tournament.
This past EVO tournament saw Daigo win once again against long term rival Justin. Get a sense of what EVO is like and all of the weird facial expressions people make from the video above. Anyone plan on going?

If you actually were an old-schooler you would understand since SF2 tournaments back in the day were pretty damn crazy, and EVO has been around for a long time, since back in the BBB days.
I'm gonna try to make this EVO. Hopefully try to enter Blazblue and Tekken 6 and if they would, CvS2 cause that shit is 10x better than any Street Fighter 4.
I saw the video, still dont see why Justing is a sell out. If he is famous and using his fame to do business or w/e, thats his choice, people need to make money of a living (still dont know what they do LOL if it even makes money). Idk prob not catching what you guys are catching.
Yeah, I watched pretty much all of Evo this year from the stream.
That fight was sick. And Justin got up and started jumping around like a dope efore the match was won.
Also, that dude with the SIIIIIIIICK Cammy was amazing. I really hope they have multiple streams next year. because I feel we missed out on a lot of early matches for games like cvs2 and sfhd remix. Hell, they hardly had any tekken stuff either.
SF4 was definitly the dominant game. And hopefully next year we will see a lot more games. CvS2, HD Remix, Guilty Gear, Blazblue, Brawl, ssf4, etc.
The sick cammy was Santhrax. Another East coaster (NY).
my friend was telling me they might drop some of the big name games this year (3S and MvC2 came to mind.) for many different reasons..though this is what I hear and rather it not be true. Or else EVO will just turn into SF4 Champfest. (which it seems they're trying to turn it into lately.)

Smoked is more like Wong not winning period. Wong holds his own. (and sent Daigo to Losers at Seasons Beating) But considering Daigo learns quick and reacts like a fucking AI, Wong usually ends up coming short.
I unno why Wong is being called a sellout. Dude is makin bank and needs some way to afford going to college. If I was that good at fighters and got payed for it, i'm sure I wouldn't turn down free money for whatever. not like dude doesn't have some type of social life outside of the fighters.
