That tablet controller cradle that got announced a while back? Sure. A kickstand/dock and a wireless controller? Sure. But for stuff like this I'd rather just play it on a Vita, a 3DS, or a laptop.

FIFA 13 iOS will have competitive online multiplayer
When I played FIFA 12 for iOS last year, I found myself rather surprised by how nicely the experience transferred onto mobile devices. It obviously found success, as the team is being even more ambitious with FIFA 13 for iOS by offering competitive online multiplayer for the first time. EA Sports isn’t stopping there, however. Mobile graphics have come a long way in the past year, and FIFA 13 iOS reflects that shift with radically improved visuals, including better facial animations and more realistically rendered stadiums. Even while it was being demoed on a massive projection screen -- that is, scaled up hundreds of times bigger than what the average person will be playing it at -- the graphics looked solid and the game played fluidly (while playing in an online match, no less.) FIFA 13 for iOS looks like it could be a nice surprise for fútbol fans late next month. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)as technically impressive as it is that they can cram a FIFA game onto iOS, the games just don't work with touch controls. it's not EA's fault--they've gone above and beyond to make the experience as playable as possible--but at the end of the day FIFA isn't the kind of game that will ever translate well onto the iPhone I play a lot of FIFA on the PS3 and I'm eagerly waiting for 13. However, I've played it on iPad and iPhone and I don't think it translates well at all. I guess I'm too used to all the options available with an actual controller. If I wanted to play it elsewhere, I'd rather wait for it to come out on the Vita. As long as these cores games are restricted by touch and tilt controls, I won't waste my money on them. I'd rather them just try and do something different. Playing action games with virtual sticks or racing games with an accelerometer is just as bad as this is.
