EA Sports has released this new trailer talking with Kantcho Doskov, one of the animators on the team for FIFA 12. The trailer focuses on the various tricks you can do in the game while showing off the new ball physics. While not all the moves are completely new to the series, even the old and established ones are being changed up thanks to the ball behaving differently every time you do the trick.
The animations look quite fluid and it's nice that one of the guys who is responsible for them actually can do some of the tricks himself. Even though the usefulness of some tricks is limited, the video gives novice players a nice look into the strategic possibilities of each move. Still, I don't see why merely cosmetic tricks should be in the game, but then again, real football players do them too.
