Dutch developer VSTEP and Paradox Interactive have announced a new 'Ferry Pack' DLC expansion for Ship Simulator Extremes, the latest in the Ship Simulator series that specifically deals with extreme situations and weather conditions.
The Ferry Pack offers five new Ferry types in campaign, free roam, and multiplayer. I love how the press release describes the types of ferries as "Fast, Channel, River, etc." as if we all know what other types there are. Canal? Slow? Lava?
The expansion features a new Ferry campaign with 10 missions all over the world, adds Ferry functionality to the Mission Editor to share Ferry missions, and highlights Ferry-specific gameplay such as "Ferry ramp & door opening for loading/unloading, Directional switch for two-ender ferries, etc."
Here's that "etc" again. Will you be able to drop down the ramp on impatient people who shout at you from the edge of the dock? Will there be Ferry cannons? Can you fight off Somalian pirates? What could it be??
