I'm only now working my way through the Mass Effect series in preparation for its conclusion, but it's good to know that there are some exciting things to look forward to. In this latest trailer for Mass Effect 3, we have the female version of Shepard getting the rundown on how much of a badass she is. And then, explosions!
This is some seriously hype-inducing stuff. I feel as though the fate of the universe rests in the hands of that cunning femme fatale. And that means it rests in my hands. There's nothing like a good power trip.

Shepard knows a thing or two about killing Reapers? Considering that Shepard only killed two Reapers, one of those killing essentially being a ballistic abortion, that is not as much of an exaggeration as it sounds.
It took long enough for them to include a reference to the option to select player character gender which has been present since the very first Bioware game release, if I recall correctly.
If only the video weren't so dark most of the time, the folks who voted for default She-pard's hair color would be able to fully appreciate Bioware's acknowledgement of the outcome of the vote in that trailer.
3 and a half more weeks! I'm doing my FemShep run of ME2 RIGHT NOW. They changed her face and hair a bit for this trailer (and ME3?), I find that weird. The default MaleShep has stayed more consistent through the series aesthetically.
Hooray for natural hair! It only took Bioware five years of HD rendering experience to get it right!
In all seriousness, she looks so cool now and finally has that look that suggests they actually made her from the ground up instead of churning her out with the same character creation tool they use for human NPCs.
That was an awesome video, its good to see femshep get the good spotlight for once.
2 things though, mostly related to the comments here.
Would it be to much to ask if some of you retards talked about the video? The initial comments where stupid and unfunny and your attempts at beating it into the ground just pretty much murdered it. This isn't 4chan.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Also that Samara image is misspelled.
