I was going to include this as part of tonight's Zelda musical tribute post, but it really deserves to stand out.
Lindsey Stirling here is quite the gifted violinist. Her medley of Zelda themes alone would have sufficed, but she had to go and wear a Link costume and get filmed in the woods and TOTALLY NAIL IT!!!
Tony Ponce (aka megaStryke) is a culturally confused, Canadian-born Puerto Rican who grew up in Japan and South Florida ... yet can only speak English. He specializes in writing features and maintaining an immaculate goatee. Likes: Any and all things related to Mega Man, Contra, Castlevania, 2D, PB&J sandwiches, applesauce, and candy corn.

So no one got from this that it's 1. a cute girl, 2. dressed as link, 3. playing the violin really well, thus making it awesome. Who cares if she's dancing around in the woods.

She has talent but I never got the crazy walking and dancing while playing violin but I guess that is all you can really do.
@KUshe87: I hate it when people disregard quality just because she's a cute female. Yes her costume looks good and yes I wouldn't mind having her next to me in bed right now. But in my opinion, it's a bland composition. The video consists just of her doing her wacky dance and eyeing the camera with her pearly whites. Honestly can't say it's particularly impressive, though she clearly has skill.
But oh no, she has tits and a cute smile! Let's give her millions of hits and jizz on her virtual face like the videogame nerds we are!
@Forsakeneyes: She clearly has skill but it isn't impressive? Logic! Besides, the camerawork and the environs they used for this thing are both pretty amazing. And the torch. Where do you even GET a torch?
Frankly, I think you're criticizing her BECAUSE she's beautiful.
Wow that was really great, and I normally don't care for fan tribute vidoes. The environments look good, especially that dungeon. As for her looking goofy, what does it matter? Some of the best musicians act plain out weird when they're performing. I probably look like a weirdo too when I'm singing.
So many haters :) I think the video's great-- this girl clearly had fun with the whole thing. Really like the hip shaking that starts around 2:30 with the Gerudo Valley theme!
@BomberJacket: Just because I found this piece bland doesn't mean I think she has no skill. You can clearly hear that she knows her way around on the violin. And in her live-performance video she happily dances around while playing well, something which I totally suck at. Hell, I can't even play my guitar while standing, properly.
It would be very ignorant of me to say that she is unskilled, just because I don't like this piece all that much. So yes, Logic!
And yes, the environments were pretty, I can't deny that.
My criticism has more to do with the people who say "who cares about this and that, she's HOT!". It's so simple-minded.

I was more pointing out the overall picture here, or did you miss the part where I said she plays very well? You know what I think is simple minded, people who insult others simply because thay are having fun and enjoying themselves.
But yeah, this caused my erection to fire straight off of my body. The kinda Japanese look and the costume, just really...wow. I don't think I can ever have an erection from normal means again.
