How have I not heard of Krater before today?!

The top-down RPG from Fatshark games (the folks behind Lead and Gold: Gangs of the West, and Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2), touts an intriguing setting and more than its fair share of seemingly nonsensical terms. Gerontocracy, a government ruled by the elderly, is something that I had to look at a few times before my brain recognized it as a legitimate term.

It's still a work in progress, but preorders ranging from €14.99 ($20) to €99 ($131) can get you in on the game as it stands now, and all future updates. It's an interesting mix of Kickstarter and Minecraft-style alpha funding. I know what I'll be doing when I get paid.

Review: Krater

Considering its been nearly 12 years since the last Diablo and three years since Torchlight, Krater is here to fill that action-RPG niche that has long been ignored by PC developers. Wait, what’s that you say? Diablo III is already out and Torchlight II is on its way? Err, well, this is going to be awkward.more

Years later, Torchlight II is almost ready for Mac

You mean to tell me 2012's action-RPG Torchlight II isn't already available for Mac? Oh. I see. Well, props to Runic Games for not abandoning the task, then. Maybe I'll play it on my next flight. The Mac version of Torchligh...more

Indigo Prophecy gets an HD trailer, downed Amazon page

Hey, Indigo Prophecy is looking pretty good. I wish this remaster would've picked a name and stuck to it, though. Calling it Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy is just kind of messy and goes against na...more
